SecEdge and Allis Communications Sign MOU to Advance TPM and Firmware TPM Solutions in Taiwan

Collaboration focuses on TPM, FirmwareTPM and Device Root of Trust for embedded, IoT and edge computing platforms

New Taipei City, Taiwan – August 2026 – Allis Communications Corporation announced that it has signed aMemorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SecEdge to explore strategic collaboration in Taiwan, with an initial focus on Trusted Platform Module(TPM), Firmware TPM (fTPM), Device Root of Trust and embedded device security technologies.

Effective August 7, 2026, the MOU establishes a framework for both companies to collaborate on business development, market validation, technical enablement, customer engagement and co-marketing activities, while evaluating the potential establishment of a future Value-Added Reseller (VAR) relationship in Taiwan.

Establishing Security from the DeviceRoot of Trust

As IoT, AIoT, industrial computing, edgecomputing and connected devices continue to expand, cybersecurity requirements are increasingly extending beyond operating systems and network protection toward the firmware and device trust layers.

TPM and Firmware TPM can provide importantbuilding blocks for establishing a trusted device environment, supporting security capabilities such as Device Identity, Secure Boot, Measured Boot, Cryptographic Key Protection, Device Authentication, Device Attestation and Root of Trust.

Through this collaboration, Allis Communications and SecEdge intend to help Taiwan-based OEMs, ODMs and device manufacturers evaluate trusted security architectures for both existing and next-generation embedded platforms.

Firmware TPM Provides a FlexibleSecurity Architecture

Traditional TPM implementations often relyon a discrete security chip. For some embedded, IoT and edge devices, however, adding an additional hardware component may introduce considerations related to BOM cost, PCB design, hardware revisions and supply-chain management.

Firmware TPM provides another approach byimplementing TPM functionality through a trusted execution environment, potentially reducing the need for additional hardware redesign.

Allis Communications and SecEdge will worktogether to promote Firmware TPM technologies across Taiwan's embedded and edge computing markets, helping customers establish trusted architectures covering device boot, credential management, key protection and device authentication.

Supporting Mainstream Embedded and EdgeAI Platforms

SecEdge's Firmware TPM technologies can beapplied across a range of embedded and edge computing platforms.

As one example, SecEdge SEC-TPM supports NVIDIA Jetson platforms and NVIDIA JetPack environments, allowing manufacturers building Edge AI, AI vision, robotics and intelligent systems on Jetson to add Firmware TPM, Trust Provisioning and Device Identity capabilities.

NVIDIA Jetson is one of the supported platforms, while the overall collaboration between Allis Communications and SecEdge will address the broader embedded, IoT, industrial computing and Edge AI ecosystem.

Targeting Taiwan's Embedded, Industrialand Edge Computing Markets

During the initial collaboration, Allis Communications will conduct market research, identify and qualify prospective customers, evaluate customer requirements and market opportunities, collect customer feedback and assess local market expectations.

SecEdge will support the initiative with product information, marketing resources and technical guidance as both companies evaluate business opportunities in Taiwan.

The collaboration will initially target applications across Industrial PCs, Embedded Computers, IoT/AIoT Devices, Edge AI Systems, Industrial Gateways, Network Appliances, Robotics, AMRs, Smart Devices and OEM/ODM platforms.

Building Local Integration and TechnicalSupport Capabilities

Beyond market development, both companieswill also evaluate a potential VAR model.

Under the preliminary VAR framework outlined in the MOU, Allis Communications could provide local device-side integration, testing, project implementation and first-line customer support, while SecEdge would provide technical training, marketing resources and technical support.

Through the collaboration, AllisCommunications aims to establish local technical capabilities covering:

Embedded Platform → Firmware TPM → TrustProvisioning → Device Identity → Trusted Device

helping Taiwan-based manufacturers strengthen the security architecture of their next-generation connected and edge computing products.

The initial MOU will remain in effect for one year. Based on market validation, customer requirements and the results of the collaboration, Allis Communications and SecEdge will subsequently evaluate whether to establish a formal VAR relationship.
